Sagebrush Checkerspot

The Sagebrush Checkerspot (Chlosyne acastus neumoegeni) is a medium-sized butterfly. It can be found in Southern Arizona, eastern California, New Mexico and northward to North Dakota and Washington.

Its coloration is typically black and orange, with cream colored areas as well.

Wing spread: 1 1/2" - 2.0"
