Gillett's Checkerspot

The Gillett's Checkerspot (Euphydryas gillettii) is a medium-sized butterfly. It can be found in Montana, eastern Idaho, western Wyoming and southwest Alberta in Canada.

Its coloration is typically brown with bright orange and cream-colored spots.

Wing spread: 1 1/2" - 1 7/8"

Host Plants: Figworts, snowberry, honeysuckles
