The Anicia Checkerspot (Euphydras anicia) is a medium-sized butterfly. It can be found in northern Mexico, western states in the USA, and southwestern Canadian provinces.
Its coloration is variable, but typically brown with orange spots, with cream colored areas as well.
Wing spread: 1 1/8" - 1 7/8"
Host Plants: Indian Paintbrush, beardtongue, figworts, plantain and borage
