Texas Powdered Skipper Coloration, Characteristics and Size

The Texas Powdered Skipper (Systasea pulverulenta) is a light-colored, orangish-brown butterfly with darker olive-brown markings. The butterfly is commonly found in scrub forests and parks, often near rivers and springs. It ranges from South Texas and West Texas, southern Arizona, and through Mexico down to Guatemala.
